FAQs

Our specialists are highly compassionate and professional in dealing with patient’s dental health.

My teeth feel fine. Do I still need to see a dentist?

Visiting the dentist regularly will not only help keep your teeth and mouth healthy, but will also help keep the rest of your body healthy. Dental care is important because it:

  • Helps prevent tooth decay
  • Protects against periodontal (gum) disease, which can lead to tooth and bone loss
  • Prevents bad breath – brushing, flossing, and seeing the dentist regularly will help reduce the amount of bacteria in your mouth that causes bad breath
  • Gives you a more attractive smile and increases your self-confidence
  • Helps keep teeth looking bright by preventing them from becoming stained by food, drinks, and tobacco
  • Strengthens your teeth so that you can enjoy healthy, beautiful smiles for the rest of your life!
Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. We are always accepting new patients at EV Dental Care. Contact us today to get more information and book your first appointment.

How do I know when it’s time to come in for a checkup?

An average, healthy adult person typically benefits from a professional cleaning and checkup every six months. While twice daily brushing and daily flossing go a long way towards maintaining a healthy mouth, it is wise to check for plaque that has hardened into tartar, requiring professional cleaning to avoid gingivitis.

Do you accept dental insurance?

Yes, we accept individual and group health insurance. Please bring your insurance card or policy information with you to your appointment.

What are you fees?

We follow the suggested fee schedule outlined in the Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide.

Do you treat children?

Yes, at EV Dental Care we are proud to treat all members of your family – from infants to seniors!

When should I bring my kids to the dentist?

It is recommended that children have a dental exam approximately six months after the eruption of their first tooth.

Is your clinic offer free parking?
